  Dropdown Navigation
In the past, dropdown navigation menus were tedious to create and difficult to update. All that changed with Javascript. They now easy to create and update.
  Pros
Can be oriented either horizontally or vertically.
Can have one or more dropdowns per page, each with its own style or each with a different style.
There are 18 base styles to start with and they can be customized to fit your site's style and color themes.
There are three animation styles -- reveal to the right (vertical orientation), reveal down, and text slide (horizontal orientation) -- for the dropdown boxes.
Dropdown animation can be disabled if Flash is also used on the page so the two animation processors do not conflict.
The dropdown can open upward if the nav bar is used lower on the page. If they are not opened upward and the number of dropdowns would appear below the page, they automatically move up.
The number of levels in the dropdowns is virtually unlimited.
Easy to create, update, and add or delete buttons.
Text is readable by browsers so it can be used for SEO.
    Cons
If too many sublevels are used, the buttons will extend beyond the image area right edge. Sub-buttons can be made to overlap the button above them to help offset this problem. However, that makes buttons difficult to read.
The horizontal menu on this page is the Curvitude style. At least two sublevels must be included underneath each primary button for this dropdown style to work correctly.
