A Slideshow With More |
| Most slideshows have the option of including some kind of text with the images so you can explain what the viewer is seeing. But this slideshow system allows you to add more than just an explanation. Here you can write a story that will tell your viewers about the history of the image or all the pertinent information about where and when the image was created. | |
| I have included nearly every option offered in this sample, but you can decide to use just one or two of them. Or go crazy and take them all! |

| • | More options than you will probably ever use. But they're there if you want them | |

| • | All text is readable by browsers and that helps your SEO. | |
| • | Nine different styles that can be customized for your site's theme and color. | |
| • | Four different animation styles: glide, gradual glide, fixed rate glide, and fade (shown). The first three bring the image in from the right to the left in a scrolling action. | |
| • | Control options that can be included are trigger links (either on the left or the right -- shown on the left), a paginator bar (either on the top or the bottom -- shown at the top), a play-pause bar (either on the top or the bottom -- shown on the bottom), and a play-pause text bar (either on the top or the bottom -- shown on the bottom). | |
| • | Start the rotation animation on page load or wait until the play button is clicked. | |
| • | Animation time between images can be controlled as can the time the first image is viewed. | |

Cons | |
| • | Time-consuming to create and customize and therefore can be a bit more expensive. | |
| • | The more images that are used, the longer the download time. | |
| • | The auto resize can be turned off when the image box size is set at a determined height, but this can cause some problems. If the image or text runs over by even 1 pixel in either direction, this can cause browser scroll bars to appear within the slideshow that can't be customized or controlled. | |
| • | The mouse-over action on the triggers can be touchy (as shown) and the mouse either must be left in place or moved off without encountering another trigger or the panel will change. | |
