  Navigation Bars with Animation
If you have a site that doesn't require dropdown menus but you've always found text-based or traditional rollover buttons to be boring, consider a Menu Bar. The animation in a Menu Bar makes it stand out.
  Pros
Menus can be displayed either horizontally or vertically.
Nine base styles from which to choose, each one animated to add movement and excitement to your nav bar.
If Flash is used on the page, animation in the Menu Bar can be disabled so the two animation processors do not conflict. The buttons then act more like a traditional rollover.
One or more Menu Bars can be included on a page, each with its own animation style or all the same.
Customizable so that colors complement your site.
The graphic image in the Follow Me style (left) can be a circle, square, triangle, rectangle, or your logo if it is very graphic. The space above the text can be adjusted so that even a vertical logo will work.
Animation on and off times can be controlled to be the speed you want.
The text in the buttons can be read by browsers, contributing to your SEO.
Easy to create, easy to update, easy to add and delete buttons.
  Cons
Menu Bars are restricted to one level and are not appropriate for sites where navigation sublevels are needed. However, if you fall in love with the Menu Bar look but also need additional navigation, other systems can be included on the page such as Dropdowns, Glide Panels, Elevator Panels, or Tab Panels.
