Text Scroll vs Page Scroll

For this version of design 2, I decided to include a text scroll box so that the text would scroll but not the page. This way I could keep the navigation in view at all times while still including as much text as the client needs.

Navigation

surferNavigation starts to look the same when it's just another row of boxes like you see on other sites, so I decided to include the option of a navigation background that complemented the theme of the site. To keep the navigation from running out of the background, I included a toggle function in the Tree Menu. A background such as this does limit the depth that navigation can run, but if your buttons don't need to take up several screens of space, something like this could be fun.

Template Customization

surferThe picture is the determining factor for the colors and graphics used. Once you've found a great, dramatic image, I can customize the colors, the banner, the background of the nav bar if one is used, and the navigation style. A Dropdown Menu, an Accordion Panel system, a Tab Panel system with text links in the panel, or a vertical Menu Bar would all work. The Menu Bar can only be used if the navigation does not require sublevels because dropdowns are not an available option with that system.
